Non-Violent Action as Creative Change

Do you ever look at the world around you and think that things are so chaotic, the problems so immense, that there isn’t anything you could possibly do to make a significant difference?

My guest Rivera Sun might change your mind! What if we have ALL the power and we just haven’t decided to use it yet?

Author/Activist Rivera Sun has written numerous books and novels, including The Dandelion Insurrection and its sequel, The Roots of Resistance. She travels nationwide teaching workshops in strategy for nonviolent movements, and is the cohost of Love (and Revolution) Radio. Her essays on social justice and nonviolent action have appeared in over 100 journals.

According to Rivera, when fear is used to control us, love is how we rebel.  She reminds us that one person CAN change the world; and that

Together we are unstoppable.
